Media Releases





During the time I was the Chair of the Child Welfare and Family Committee for the BC Association of Social Workers (BCASW), and the president and representative for the Vancouver-Sea-to-Sky Branch on the provincial board of the BCASW, I drafted a number of media releases that were quite successful in getting media attention and public interest on a range of social welfare issues.

November 2008 - From Words to Action: On the 19th Anniversary of the 1989 House of Commons Resolution to end child poverty, BCASW urges governments invest in social infrastructure.
